I used trains to move around Europe. This is my last train trip and I took a picture because the structure of the train reminded me of Harry Potter.
Venezia

The city of canals and boats.

I had a delicious large pizza for lunch and headed forward with my day.

The city was small so I didn’t have to take any automobiles. I spent the entire day walking all around the tiny city.
Firenze

I visited the Uffizi Gallery and saw some famous works.

For afternoon snack, I had a cup of espresso at a local cafe. I never had espresso before meeting YJ in Rome last month. I missed her already that I unconsciously ended up looking for a cup of espresso, her favorite drink. She would drink a hot, heavy espresso, no matter how hot the day is.

The night descended and I wasn’t ready to go home yet.

That night, I did something extremely reckless: I decided to walk a path that no one took to go to a plaza where I could see the entire town from above. The path was empty, no person no cars, and I even lost directions at one point. It was very scary and all I could do was to stop thinking about the current situation and just walk until I saw light. Ah, I still have chills when I look back on that dangerous moment!
Anzio
At the guesthouse, I got to talk to 2 girls who were traveling together. I must have talked about how I wanted to explore more local areas where there are no tourists, because I decided to go to Anzio, a beach recommended by these two girls. It was away from the city and I had to take a long bus trip to this beach. As they have hinted, Anzio was plain local and I loved it! I had to walk a long way even from the bus terminal to the beach, but I loved the quiet, peaceful neighborhood, with colorful full-bloom flowers and the empty roads and the tourist-unfriendly atmosphere.

I had a good tanning time here.

I also loved italian gelato🍦
Goodbye, Europe!

On my way back to Korea. I feel grateful for this trip to Europe. All the friends I met, the new experiences and the beautiful sceneries.

If there is one thing I brought to Seoul with me from Europe is my love for pasta! For a month, I had to cook pasta for myself, and it stuck with me. Here I’m back in Seoul, and I am making pasta for myself, just like when I was in Geneva, with all the heavy ingredients I bought in Rome, worried that ingredients would be too expensive for my budget in Switzerland.
